&lt;p&gt;Launching a new product has always been an exciting and fulfilling experience. What you see above is the foundation of an IMC campaign for a promising lifestyle development that integrates health &amp; wellness services with real estate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I really think the best way to help clients craft and communicate their Marketing message is to first, listen. A no-brainer, right? Not really. I’ve been a client too, and I’ve been frustrated so many times by suppliers who do not seem to listen, or seem to think they know it all, or seem to focus too much on design and making things look nice. Clients go through the pains of SWOT, 4 Ps, negotiating budgets with execs, etc. and in the end, suppliers deliver artsy, fluffy, hackneyed materials with diluted messages. &lt;p&gt;LogoOrange listed “The New Crest”, a clever mishmash of medieval symbols and urban culture elements, as one of the top logo design trends of 2008. But this project was entirely different. When I heard the client’s brief and saw the manuscript that contained the family’s original coat (with all its elements explained), I was so intrigued that I decided not to dilute its character by “futurizing” it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It all starts with the logo. Logo creation has always been fascinating for me. The main challenge is how to utilize the best possible fundamental elements of form and color to communicate brand promise or lengthy corporate objectives. For instance, how would you effectively communicate concepts like technology, relationships or peace of mind using one simple visual vehicle?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During graduate business classes that are typically less than interesting, I sometimes try to achieve optimum use of time (stuff business school teaches you) by bringing work to class! &lt;p&gt;It is an unfortunate reality that most ads generated by real estate developers in the country are poorly conceived and sometimes downright schlocky. Apparently, the basic formula followed by many developers and their agencies goes like this: 1) Take a bunch of generic-looking photos of singles, couples or families having a jolly good time in model units or just download stock photos (ethnicity doesn’t matter). 2) Sit down with a thesaurus and list down the synonyms of “leisure”, “comfort”, “luxury”, etc. for the next item 3) Concoct taglines like “Relaxed Living in the Metro” and match them with copy that also applies to the competitor 4) Get the artist to create a mish-mash of everything using graphic and layout “trends”.&lt;/p&gt;
