LogoOrange listed “The New Crest”, a clever mishmash of medieval symbols and urban culture elements, as one of the top logo design trends of 2008. But this project was entirely different. When I heard the client’s brief and saw the manuscript that contained the family’s original coat (with all its elements explained), I was so intrigued that I decided not to dilute its character by “futurizing” it.
I’d like to think that this probably goes well with the product. You’d probably want to enjoy it as it is, too.
